Civil War Battlefield Maps by Trailhead Graphics. This is an exciting series that will eventually cover most of the major Civil War battlefields. This series has a style very similar to Trails Illustrated, as the Trailhead Graphics cartographer did much of the Trails Illustrated early cartography.
One side of the map is a large scale topographic map of the park showing roads, trails and monuments. The other side has inset maps of troop movements and an order of battle chart and troop lists.

Kennesaw Mtn. map. As Major General William T. Sherman advanced towards Atlanta in June of 1864, he was stalled at Kennesaw Mountain by Confederates led by General Joseph E. Johnston. A stalemate caused Sherman to attack Cheatam Hill and Pigeon Hill, which he felt were vulnerable. Sherman failed, causing him to revert to his previously successful flanking maneuvers. Santiago de Cuba Battlefield, 1898. 1:50,688. The 100th anniversary of the Spanish American War was celebrated in 1998. McElfresh Map Co., published a map of Santiago de Cuba in commemoration of the war. The map is drawn in general conformity with maps drawn by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1963. A 1980 Soviet General Staff map supplied corroboratory details. A number of contemporaneous Spanish-American War maps provided the cultural and physical details and the look of the battlefield in 1898. The reverse side includes a narrative entitled "General J.C. Breckinridge's Notes on a War" which describes various aspects of the life among the American, Cuban and Spanish soldiers. There are also reproductions of the guidon of Company G, a field telephone used during the war, and a photograph of the Rough Riders gathering for inspection in Tampa, Florida.
