This map marks out 67 bicycle trails, each with its own number. 302 accommodations – guest houses, cottages, hotels, castles, manor houses, campings. There are lots of different routes – some that are good for day-trippers,others for people who enjoy more extreme adventures. There are routes in towns and cities, out in the countryside, through the forestand on the seashore. A few can be travelled in just a few hours’time, while others will take a couple of days.
The routes on the map are divided up into three categories of difficulty on the basis of the quality of the road, the terrain, the length of the route, obstacles that might be encountered, etc. The reverse side has extensive information and photographs of the various routes shown on the map. Distances can be adapted for all abilities from beginners to long-distance cyclists. The map is in English/German.
The map is accompanied by a a "Country Holidays" guide to Latvia. The guide, in English/Latvian/Russian, contains practical information on what to see and do, where to eat and where to spend the night. The guide also notes recommended routes for cars, bikes, and boats.
