(Açores)Azores Topographic Quadrangle Map. 1:50,000. 1968. Instituto Português de Cartografia e Cadastro. In Portuguese. This series is now out of print and replaced by the 1:25,000 topographic maps listed below. We have a few sheets left in stock. Detailed, colour survey map from the Portuguese civilian survey body. Each map in this series is fully-contoured (at 25m intervals) and shows all standard legend for survey mapping (e.g. roads, spot heights, buildings, vegetation type, fluvial information, scree, dunes, churches, ruins, etc.). Lines of latitude and longitude are show at 5' intervals. Recently revised sheets also show UTM coordinates with margin ticks at 1km intervals. Projection: International Elipsoid. Datum: Ilha de S.
